Hollowdyke Lane

Fernwood Residents Association has formed a Group to consider the concerns expressed mainly by residents about the closure of Hollowdyke lane to all vehicles. In the long term, possibly 10 years, access will be permitted for Buses only but the Lane is currently blocked by large concrete blocks.

The aims of the Group are:

To examine the reasons for the closure of Hollowdyke Lane;
To identify the concerns of local users over the closure;
To discuss potential alterations and improvement with users, representatives and statutory bodies;
To agree a strategy for improving vehicular access for Fernwood Village.
